Here you'll find personal essays and short fiction rooted in heavier life topics, including faith, family issues, and mental health. 

Imagined

I also write fantasy and science fiction. I've hacked at my first fantasy novel for years and have a stack of other stories at varying stages of undone. I plan to share my short stories here, as well as updates on my larger projects and general writer-y content. 

Crossing the Streams

Although it might get a little messy, I've decided to pull these distinct streams of my writing together under one umbrella.

To curb some of the chaos, I've created a newsletter focused on my life-related writing (personal essays, memoirs, and contemporary fiction) and another newsletter for my science fiction/fantasy (short stories, project updates, and writing craft). When you subscribe to the blog, you can opt in to one or both newsletters and receive relevant posts via email.
